Our story

Born from friendship.
Driven by purpose.

Tseleme Social Club was founded in 2013 by a group of lifelong friends from the North West Province. In response to persistent socioeconomic challenges faced by rural and township communities, the group formally established Tseleme Cares Foundation NPC in 2023.

Guided by the belief that education is a catalyst for transformation, TCF restores dignity and improves school attendance by providing school uniforms and shoes to learners from impoverished backgrounds.

The problem

Many learners in under-resourced communities miss school regularly because they cannot afford a uniform or shoes.

Our response

TCF steps in every year to restore dignity and give learners the tools they need to show up and succeed.

Our Impact

Every uniform is a door opened.

From Maquassi Hills to eMalahleni, every school visit represents a community that believed change was possible. TCF has successfully dressed 809 learners across 13 schools since 2016.

Learner stories

Meet the learners your support reaches

Learner at Trotsville Primary
Trotsville Primary, North West

"I used to hide at home on school days."

Before receiving her uniform from TCF, this learner often stayed home to avoid shame. Today she attends every single day and is one of her class's top performers.

Amahle M.  Grade 5
Learner at Dunbar Primary
Dunbar Primary, Mpumalanga

"My new shoes made me feel like I belonged."

Growing up in eMpumelelweni, proper school shoes were out of reach. A new pair from TCF changed more than just his appearance -- it changed how he saw himself.

Thabo K.  Grade 3
School shoes from TCF at Nkagisang Primary
Nkagisang Primary, North West

"My mother cried when she saw the uniform."

For this family, the uniform handover was more than a practical gift. It was a moment of dignity and hope that reminded them their community had not been forgotten.
