"I used to hide at home on school days."
Before receiving her uniform from TCF, this learner often stayed home to avoid shame. Today she attends every single day and is one of her class's top performers.
Amahle M. Grade 5Since 2016, we have been restoring dignity and improving school attendance by providing uniforms and shoes to learners from impoverished communities across South Africa.
Tseleme Social Club was founded in 2013 by a group of lifelong friends from the North West Province. In response to persistent socioeconomic challenges faced by rural and township communities, the group formally established Tseleme Cares Foundation NPC in 2023.
Guided by the belief that education is a catalyst for transformation, TCF restores dignity and improves school attendance by providing school uniforms and shoes to learners from impoverished backgrounds.
Many learners in under-resourced communities miss school regularly because they cannot afford a uniform or shoes.
TCF steps in every year to restore dignity and give learners the tools they need to show up and succeed.
From Maquassi Hills to eMalahleni, every school visit represents a community that believed change was possible. TCF has successfully dressed 809 learners across 13 schools since 2016.
